Devour: Book Review

I'm having a hard time getting into this book. So far it has three different hero's and heroines. Three different story lines and is just difficult to get interested with that much going on. I'm still trying to read it because I WANT to finish the book so I didn't waste $7. At this point I would recommend this book to anyone.

Happy Birthday Mommy

Well today is my mothers birthday. It has been exactly 60 days since she passed. We went and picked up my dad and sister and went to visit her at the cemetary. Dad was in fair spirits, he told me that he had a tuff morning but was doing a little better. We tried to make a day of it but of course life creeps in. Max took some pictures and I have included them in this post. I am feeling sad and upset and just want to sit down and cry but I can't cause it will not do any good. It can not bring her back....I sometimes think this is a dream and that I will wake up and she will be waiting for us to come over and bring her chocolate. (her favorite) but then realize that it's true and I can never hold her hand or give her a hug again. It has left a hole in my heart that I just can't fill. So mom this is for you. Happy birthday, and as you look down from Heaven remember you are loved and missed sooo very much.

Truck

Yeah the truck is ready......Last friday we got rear ended in our truck and it did some damage to the bumper but that was it.  Now her car was totaled.   Thank God for Steel Bumpers.   We have been using a rental car since Monday and it is sooo tiny.   2007 Dodge Calibur.   I thought that it would be a great car and the outside looks great but the inside just looks cheap.   We tried to get it to over over 70 on the highway and it didn't seem to have the power to want to do it.    I am so glad that we will be able to get our truck back today.     What should have been a simple and free rental car from Geico turns out that we had to pay for insurance at 20.00 a day.   Ridiculas....

Free Day Off

Well I am off today and am just going to be lazzzzzzy.   Max has to work but he does get off a couple of hours early.   I figured that I would get my hair done and then see what the rest of the day brings.    How sad is this.   I feel like I should be at work or that there is something that I could be doing to be productive.    Any way we will have to see.

GIFTS

So I just had a birthday (to old to say) and my dad got me an IPOD Nano. I love it. Max has already place over 300 songs on it and it is so cool. I sit and listen to it while he plays Halo 3 so that I don't have to hear the guns and such. Anyway, it was a very nice surprise and much appreciated. My dad is coming into the 21st century. I went over there today and he also has one that he has downloaded songs to. I couldn't believe it. He is getting computer savy as well.

DEVOUR

I went to Barnes and Noble today and got this new book. DEVOUR by Melina Morel. It seems like it would be good. Of course anything with Vampires, Werewolfs and such is a good story for me. Any way I will be reviewing it as soon as I finish reading it. I just wanted to let you know what most of my blogs will be about. I will be reading and reviewing the books I purchase and giving my opinion as to whether they are worth the price or not. Just to give you a little back ground information on me. I am married (4 years in December) and he is great. His name is Max. He puts up with my crazy ness when it comes to buying books but he is not into them as much as he is into listening to audio books. Max is a complete computer guru and x box fan. I have 3 dogs and yes they are name after the characters in Family Guy ( Stewart Gilligan 2 year old Chiwawa), South Park (Buttersworth Margerine 8 months old Chiwawa) and Future Rama (Nibbler 4 years old Rottwaller). My babies the only ones that I will have or at least claim. Anyway I think this is enough for the 1st blog and will get back to reading so I can review it. Last thought: The more you read the less you know.
